Ashtanga Yoga Guildford & Guildford Massage
Astanga Yoga Guildford are delighted to announce Louise Newton is visiting Guildford this summer for an amazing yoga workshop.
Louise has been practicing and teaching at Ashtanga Yoga London for 20 years, she will share with you some of her vast experience & knowledge.
"I stumbled upon astanga yoga in 1999 and soon found Hamish who has been my teacher ever since. I first visited Mysore in 2006, one year after beginning assisting Hamish. Assisting evolved into teaching and I love being part of the morning programme at AYL. I believe it is my duty to be welcoming and inclusive creating a safe and non-judgemental space for all students to find their own path, allowing them to explore, deepen and develop a practice which is both sustainable and supportive to their life."
The day will begin with a morning Mysore self practice with staggered start times. This will be followed by a practical asana workshop focussed on the needs of those attending. After a break for brunch, Louise will cover practice techniques, some philosophy of yoga and some of the practicalities of living a full life as well as practicing; there will be plenty of time at the end to answer students' questions. Womens Conference will follow for those who wish to attend (men welcome of course). We know the workshop will be inspiring and enjoyable.
The workshop is suitable for those students self-practicing Primary Series up to Maricasana B (and all series beyond).
If you have a long practice, please let us know. Please note it may not be possible to get the time you want so book early as there will be limited numbers. Start times will be allocated and confirmed by email to you the week before the workshop.
