Join Clive to learn how to become light enough to transition smoothly from one posture to the next.


This will be a fun workshop suitable for students who have had a little experience of a vinyasa flow style class.


We will look at the functional anatomy of movement related to floating and how we can develop these areas over a long period of time to build strength.


Movement will progress through the workshop identifying the areas of the body in you. We will finish with a fun flow of movement where you will use what you have learnt to improve your journey into floating and flying.

Transmission of yoga between the teacher and student happens in a variety of ways during asana practice, we will look at how communication happens with the student through touch and verbal queuing.


Transmission of energy happens when the teacher adjusts the student in a pose. Teaching like this allows the student to find space in some postures that they may not have thought possible. You can still experience this way of learning in the Ashtanga Yoga tradition especially in a Mysore Self Practice Class but also in a flowing Vinyasa class & a more static Hatha class.


Learning to recognise when an adjustment is necessary, how to adjust students and how to receive adjustments is an invaluable way of deepening their & your understanding of yoga postures.


During this workshop, we will share with you several different ways to adjust someone in their asana practice, allowing you to build confidence to put this into practice.

This is open to all practitioners with at least 2 years asana experience, who would like to deepen their understanding of yoga. The more varied practitioners we have in the room, the better served everyone will be.
