In this informative and fun course you will gain and understanding of how transmission of yoga between the teacher and student happens. Looking at the a variety of ways during asana practice communication happens with the student, through touch and verbal queuing.
Transmission of energy happens when the teacher adjusts the student in a pose. Teaching like this allows the student to find space in some postures that they may not have thought possible. You can still experience this way of learning in the Ashtanga Yoga tradition especially in a Mysore Self Practice Class but also in a flowing Vinyasa class & a more static Hatha class.
During this workshop, we will share with you several different ways to adjust someone in their asana practice, allowing you to build confidence to put this into practice.
This is open to all practitioners with at least 2 years asana experience, who would like to deepen their understanding of yoga. The more varied practitioners we have on the course, the better served everyone will be.

At fairly regular intervals we come together informally to practice the Yoga Sutras and Chant mantras together.
